...So Many fave looks, So little space! lol. Since i had to narrow it down, Here are my top 6 looks...
Givenchy has me craving for Spring 2010!!!

I take away from his latest offerings...

• Sheer draped tops (very sexy, esp. if the see through pt is strategically placed )
  
• Futuristic inspired asymmetrical cuts
  
• Stripes, stripes, & more stripes!!!/ Linear prints (try not to stare too hard, you might get dizzy..lol)
  
• Color blocking with prints and solids (really makes design details POP!)
  
• Zero accessories! (the main focus is the silhouette of garment)
• Plunging necklines (mainly in a "V"- shape variation)
• Draped tapered pants (they arent going anywhere!!!)
• Layering various sizes of pleated ruffles asymmetrically (see skirt...im in ♥)
  
• Emphasis on the hips...(Many of the looks gives those of us who weren't blessed with curves, a sleek illusion : D)
• Each piece has an added touch of volume (May it be layering, draping, or cut)
  
• The Balmain-esque shoulders are slowly starting to get toned down... (Thank You!)

Give Me Wedges!!!!

....Givenchy has set the tone this spring, serving up a full dosage/ variety of killer wedges. I cant stop staring at them, they are all SO BEAUTIFUL!!!! Some 1 send me a pair....xoxo : D

My fave looks.......

I've been meaning to post LANVINS S2010 collection for a while now, just never got around to organizing my imagery! lol. I AM DEF IN LOVEEEEEE... The construction of his clothes are forever timeless in my eyes!

I take away from his latest offerings...

• A new approach on drapery (be slouchy, yet elegant!)
• Asymmetry (see necklines, draping)
  
• Not to be afraid to get GAUDY!!! (Do you notice how a majority of the jewelry is layered on the most embellished pieces?)
  
• Go BLACK, Stay in ALL BLACK! (the silhouette looks much more emphasized, and really makes a statement... w/o the "extra-ness")
  
• Clinched waist (ALWAYS! : )
• Penciled skirts...Loose fitting tapered pants!!! (HOT!)
  
• Emphasis on ankles (is it me, or does shoes w/straps make your ankles look so much smaller?!)
• Minimal makeup (the clothes are a statement in themselves...lets keep it simple ppl)
• One piece anything (jumpers etc.) inst going anywhere!!!! Neither is the "power" shoulder.

• Layered chokers, chains, cuffs, and rings on just about anything! (Are anklets back?! lol)
  
• Embellishments (jewelry, clothes, shoes)
  
• Leather long glove worn on one hand

• Precious metals miXed (who said gold & silver dosent go?!)
• MeSsY runway hair!! (For some reason I can never get mine to look 1/2 way decent)
  
• HUGE Statement pieces that can be worn w/ just about Anything, Any style!!! = VERSATILITY : )

Stuntin' on these Hoes

Alicia Keys annual Keep a Child Alive Ball brought the fierceness out of its attendees full throttle! Two of my faves were Ms Iman sparkling in Thakoon...the tulle on the shoulder is just setting the outfit off! Iluvit...and Miss Halle (below) stuntin' in a black glittery Kaufman Franco dress...Both ladies looks are FLAWLESS! Not too mention that hot piece of candy Halles got on her arm...yum! ; )

Where are the Wild Things?!

Pamela Love just recently launched her WWT's inspired jewelry collection! It was love at first sight when I first laid eyes on these beauties....I'm big on accesesories...costume or real... They can either make or break your outfit! What always makes a piece stand out to me is DETAIL!!! I love when something i'm wearing has a life of it's own...her pieces are crafted beautifully!

Marc Jacobs is celebrating Nars 15th anniversary in the new book 15x15. The book creatively combines photography and makeup.... It features an array of celebs in which Nars says he "wanted to pick people who reflected his taste, also friends and people who he admired for their looks and talent" I'm luvin Marcs look....completly gorge!

I've been meaning to drop this post for a while now, but it breaks my heart everytime I see his latest collection....Last yr Chris Decarins show was one of the best Paris fashion wk had to offer! He gave me glam, and had every party girl, socialite chic rocking his looks from head to toe' So there's no surprise how much I anticipated 2010's collection... Instead of over the top looks, Decarin opted for a more laid back collection filled w/ lame, leather, shredded, holey, DIY looks! His latest effort isn't bad... But I'd rather see talented designers such as him bring it every yr! In this industry your only as good as your last collection so I feel each yr on the runway should be a banger! Aquatic Fierceness

I must say I really enjoyed viewing Alexander McQueens show...I love it when designers are so creative their final productions take you on a timewarp into another dimension! In this case, McQueen took me down under and showed us all the fierce aquatic fashion creatures that lurk below~ Some of the overall looks I couldn't personally wear but from a designers stand point of view I can understand and appreciate the hard work, and innovation put into the line. The silhouettes are very original and many of the prints are reminicent of Mary Katrantzou's bold graphic style. Also, the stage set was pretty dope...Sir McQueen you truly put the I in INSPIRE!!
